# Farmester

> Farmester is a plant care app: snap a photo to identify any plant, get a tailored care guide, set per-plant watering and fertilising reminders, log care actions, and watch each plant grow on a photo timeline. Free for up to 10 plants. Optional IoT sensor support (ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi) for power users.

Farmester is built for everyday plant owners and indoor gardeners in English-speaking markets (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland). Core jobs the app does:

- Identify a plant from a photo (houseplants, succulents, orchids, herbs, vegetables, trees).
- Diagnose plant problems (yellowing leaves, root rot, pests, nutrient deficiency) from a photo with the in-app plant doctor.
- Remind you when each plant needs water, fertiliser, repotting, or pruning — per plant, not generic.
- Keep a full care log and photo timeline per plant so you can see how it's changed over months.
- Optional: ingest live soil-moisture / light / temperature / humidity readings from your own ESP32 / ESP8266 / Raspberry Pi over an HTTP API.
- Optional marketplace for plants, pots, sensors, and a caretaker-booking marketplace for vacation plant care.

Pricing: Free plan (up to 10 plants, no credit card). Premium $6.99/month (unlimited plants, AI consultations, plant sharing, multiple shops/workspaces, priority support). Enterprise/commercial on request.
